AUTOMATIC DIRECT DEPOSIT

SAFE. SIMPLE. SECURE.

St's Peter & Paul Parish has a program which allows parishioners to contribute automatically to the parish through an automatic withdrawal from the checking account of their choice. Participating parishioners have contributions taken out of their bank account and automatically transferred to Sts Peter & Paul Parish account. Not everyone is able to attend Mass each weekend, especially those that spend part of the winter or summer months in other areas. Automatic withdrawal allows you to contribute to the parish even if you're absent.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET SIGNED UP?

1. Decide on the amount of contribution you would like to have withdrawn from your checking account.

2. Fill out the form for checking withdrawals (see attachment).

3. Attach a blank check with "VOID" written across it.

4. Return the application in to the parish office.

If you have any questions, please contact the parish office at 320-597-2575.

The Pension Protection Act allows certain IRA holders the opportunity to donate assets in their IRA to qualified charitable organizations. If it's done correctly, the distributions are tax-free.
Eligibility and Donation Limit
IRA holders must be at least 70 ½ years of age on or before the actual day of making the donation.
For those who do qualify by age, their maximum charitable donation is limited to $100,000 per tax year. Any distribution in excess of this limit will not qualify for the exclusion benefit and will be treated as ordinary income. Note that distributions of base contributions and tax-paid conversions to Roth IRA holders are generally not considered taxable income.
